GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERSHIP
1) A member shall meet the minimum requirements for a class A collision center or obtain these requirements in a 1 year period. If not met shop must submit for approval to the officers a reasonable timetable to achieve Class A status. In addition to the requirements listed by CIC web site, an approved squeeze type resistant spot welder shall be added to the list. (this is needed for repairs to high strength steels in order to control the heat effect from welding)
2) New members must be sponsored by an existing member and accepted by the membership committee. Application and check shall be presented to membership committee and the committee must vote within 30 days of receipt of application. ( all members presented should be made aware of our by-laws and requirements by the sponsoring member)
3) Regarding member in good status. A member in good status is a member who's dues are paid, have met or are in the process of meeting the class A requirements, and have attended at least 50% of the meetings annually. A member not in good standing cannot vote in any election or decision.
There are three levels of membership in the CCRS Affiliate Chapter.
